This site is a free fire safety and fire prevention advice centre and was set up by me, Tom Sutton for Merseyside Fire Liaison Panel. I will assist any person, company or organisation in the United Kingdom with fire safety problems and will assist you directly, if possible, or advise you where help may be available.

The Merseyside Fire Liaison Panel was a voluntary organisation and its aims were to promote fire safety, in the Merseyside area, however they are no longer active and consequently unable to promote this web site. Without their financial support the website it is very difficult to maintain, however because it appears to be useful to so many people, I will maintain it, to the best of my ability. At least until the costs become excessive and then I will then allow the website to close.

In my working life I was fire safety officer in the Merseyside Fire Brigade, and since my retirement I have little contact with the fire service on Fire Safety maters. Consequently my information is dated, but the changes in fire safety matters move extremely slowly and most information will be relevant for sometime in the future but it is important to treat all information with caution.

I would be much obliged if you would send me your constructive criticism about his web site and inform me of any information, contain therein, which is out of date. This will enable me to research it so I can bring it up to date, improve the site and make it more useful to all readers.
